Ministry of Helps

Mission & Vision:
To make LHCM facilities conducive for worship and the Word

The ministry officially started in 2014, evolving from informal church cleanup sessions that began when the church occupied the Rizal Center in 1996. Volunteers were sought for regularly, however, there were only a handful of people, including Pastor Jose, who consistently participated in these church cleanups. The locations Lion’s Heart used for services in the early years were rented and served secular functions on other days of the week. Volunteers frequently found themselves clearing the facilities of alcohol and other debris prior to preparing the location to host the teaching of Scripture. Today the Ministry of Helps is comprised of a number of groups, each possessing three to five members rotating on a weekly basis to take care of the facility. Additional volunteers also handle special and seasonal tasks such as remodeling and snow removal during wintertime.
